IKP Immobiliengruppe has brokered a residential and commercial complex in Saarbrücken on behalf of a private owners’ association.
The building was constructed in 1988 and has a rental area of approximately 3,304 m² that is divided into 12 residential and 9 commercial units. The retailers are well-known chain stores with long-term leases that constitute the local supply centre of the Malstatt district. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
The buyer is the Hamburg-based fintech company Exporo, which is using the purchase to expand further its portfolio and steadfastly pursue its acquisition strategy. The entire sales process was structured and guided by IKP Immobiliengruppe as an off-market deal.
“I am delighted that, despite pandemic-related challenges, the sales process was harmonious throughout and always goal-oriented. I would like to thank everyone involved for making this possible”, reported Kreso Jerkic, Head of Residential Investment at IKP Immobiliengruppe.
“Our strategy is to invest in excellent micro-locations with solvent tenants, and the residential and commercial complex in Saarbrücken is an ideal fit for this policy. The diversified tenant mix of residences, medical offices and the Edeka store won us over, and we are thrilled that we were able to secure this property for Exporo and its investors”, said Georg Düring, Investment Manager at Exporo.

The Hamburg-based fintech company Exporo is Germany's leading platform for digital real estate investments. For this purpose, Exporo bundles capital of many private investors, who can easily and digitally invest in real estate via the Exporo platform. The private investors can invest in selected real estate projects from low minimum amounts. They can choose between two complementary product categories: With the "Exporo Bestand" product, investors are given the opportunity to invest in rented properties and - similar to an owner - to benefit from the rental income and the increase in value. Exporo now holds more than 250 million euros in assets under management. With the second product "Exporo Financing", investors finance real estate projects from professional project developers and receive attractive returns in return. A team of experienced real estate experts acquires and analyzes over hundreds of properties and project developments every year. Since its founding in November 2014, more than 750 million euros have been digitally brokered.
